Enjoying a guided walkEach year , the 'Wild Ennerdale' Partners aim to hold a number of events which aim:

  • to encourage people to explore the valley, its landscape, wildlife and sense of wildness.
  • to provide opportunities for people to feedback their thoughts about the future management of the Ennerdale Valley.
  • to raise awareness about the 'Wild Ennerdale' partnership  

We offer online booking so that you can book your place at any time of the day , night week or weekend. Click on the event title for more information and booking.

We offer a range of free and charged events. After deduction of costs all the profits from charged events go towards managing Ennerdale, paying for activities such as planting juniper, oak and birch, protecting historic features and conserving Red Squirrels.

Ennerdale Craft Morning at the Fox and Hounds Inn - 10.30am until 12.30pm
Crafts activites with a focus on using local materials and skills including herdwick wool.
