Grazing Animals Project

GAP exists to help land managers get the desired level of grazing on wildlife sites. The project provides practical support to graziers, wildlife site managers and conservation advisors across the UK. GAP is helping Wild Ennerdale in its introduction of cattle.

Leopold Institute

An Institute based in the USA dedicated to the following goals: To develop the knowledge needed to protect and preserve wilderness and the ecological and social values derived from Wilderness and similarly managed lands, and To communicate and apply this knowledge to the Wilderness management agencies and other user groups.

Wildnerness Net

Wilderness.net is an american Internet-based tool connecting the natural resource workforce, scientists, educators, and the public to their wilderness heritage through ready access to wilderness information.

The Trust is dedicated to preserving and promoting the value of the world's last remaining wild areas. They support projects that conserve wilderness and those seeking to re-establish it in Great Britain and overseas.

Carrifran Wildwood Carrifran Wildwood is a bold initiative in ecological restoration, spearheaded by the Wildwood Group. The idea is to re-create an extensive tract of wild and largely forested land, evoking the pristine countryside of six thousand years ago.
